Classroom conduct and decorum play a significant role in creating a positive and effective learning environment, so we must consider learning focus, respect and inclusion, emotional and psychological safety, and positive teacher-student relationship as key reasons to help us develop good classroom conduct and decorum. Besides, it is essential for creating a sense of ownership and responsibility among students engaging them in the process of establishing and maintaining classroom conduct and decorum, so for the development of this process there are some strategies. For example, collaborative rule creation, class meetings or discussions, peer accountability, reflection and feedback, and others. Those strategies educators empower students to take ownership of their learning. Also, a crucial aspect of maintaining classroom conduct and decorum is consistency and fairness, so for promoting those aspects it is necessary to follow some strategies; for instance, consistent application of rules, transparent and communicative expectations, open communication, reflective practices, and others. Classroom conduct and decorum are vital components of a successful learning environment.
